trim pump

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck having a trim pump rebuilt for a bravo one. was quoted 800 for a new one, seemed a little pricey.

you might try a local hyd. shop. had a pump motor got out a couple of years ago, merc wanted an arm and a leg, a local shop around me was able to get a match for $60,brand new, other than a merc label-exactly the same.

Yea that's what I'm going to try to do, found one close to me, I see them online selling for 300 but I'm going to have a shop look at it first. Thanks for the advice

try Ebay for new and used parts. I prefer merc parts but sierra has worked fine for me in the past as well.
