Maybe this weekend...

...I could load up the Excursion with my new IMCO's and spare Bravo to drive 886 miles/NY to take redelivery of my Fountain with its new installed attitude.
Not only that but I have a fellow OSO member wanting to meet me up there to buy all three of my old Bravo's. $
Just sitting here waiting for the call..." Its done, come get it"
I am having dreams about it.

Any news, Mark?

Well, just got back this morning at 5am.
Im sorry to say this was without our boat.
It seems the Gods are still against me.
We hooked up the new IMCO's and went for a test ride...no water psi after 2500rpm on the Port side.
Messed with this issue for about 5 hours and pulled the boat out of the water to check if the drive had and obstruction.
We back flushed through the hose in the gimbal and NO water came out the drive pickup!? WTF?
We then pulled the drive to see if anything was clogged or what and what we found amazed us all.
The IMCO upper gear case had no hole for the water to pass into it and onward to the gimbal!?!?!?! Bad casting!
Thank god the freshwater flush system feed some water to that side...we could have toasted something.
Always beleive your gauges...the water psi gauge showed very little psi and we didn't pounce on it because of this....motor saved.
The main reason the boat is still there is that a lifter hung itself up in its bore and the #5 piston kissed the intake valve.
Upon dissassembly we found that the lifter was about .0007 larger in dia. than all the rest and got a bit stickey when heated up.
So anyway I got to boat for 2 days so far this season...but im glad that the problems are all surfacing now rather than later here in Chicago.
The guys are doing a great job dealing with all the iusses.

Sorry to hear about your IMCO SC's. I bought 2 also and had a slight problem with one. I hope they take care of your problem as promptly as they did mine!!

We were able to just drill a hole where it was supposed to be.
Here is a pic of my souvenir. :p
BTW... We got to ride on a 32 Skater, it was very fast!

It,s too bad that these expensive products do not get inspected better. glad you did not do more damage. these toys are expensive enough without things like this happening. :)
