29 fountain
Hi Guys,
I am looking for 09 or 10 29 anybody know where that boat is? I am ready to buy now. |
I think 2007 (or possibly 2008) was the end of the 29 Fever production except for a couple of special order boats.
|
There is a one owner 29' with 525 for sale in Washington State. I can put you in touch with the owner. It is for sale but not yet on the market.

Well thats my boat your talking about.
I personally think it is in great shape, fluids changed every 20 hours and meticulously maintained. Never stored outside and I have been the only captain behind the wheel since it came from Fountain. Yes it has been stored for 2 years, serviced and winterized in a climate controlled shop. I would think worse things could happen to a Fountain in 2 year's time. If it's that big of a deal, I'll go run it this weekend... I have not had a reason to break open the factory sealed HP525 yet, has been great all along and always been a great boat for me. Is 250 hours a lot for a 2004? Not in my mind, my 2006 Grady White has 1100 hours on it, all done by me. I don't care if I sell it or not which is why I have not advertised it, I like it - they're great boats.... Anyway - its all good, good luck finding your new boat. |

Blue motors are much different than whatever is in you Grady White. |
i know of a cig tiger with almost 500 hours on the ticker. 525's just pulled this spring for a check up. really wasnt a reason to pull them once they got opened up. not to say every motor is the same tho.

Friend of mine had 2001 500 efi with 550 hours and they say change springs 2-300 hours depending on who you talk to. He never did. He ran it hard as hell and never one issue!
