10 Meter fuel capacity

I've never actually filled it up from empty, and I'm trying to figure out the range. I can't find any info on how big the tanks are. Anybody know for sure? It's an '88 10 Meter, with 2 aluminum tanks. Thanks.

must have changed in 89' or ive been shorted.... I can only put 60 gals per side in mine. thats another 280 lbs of load. Thats would make a little differnence on top end,

I have a 98 29 and could never get the same answer twice until someone told me under the rear deck access panel there is a sticker that tells you how big the tanks are. Dont know if they put one there on your boats or not.

Glad I found this, I had a few questions that have been in question in our marina, 1st when did the swim platform start on these boats...89 or 90 and did 89's come both ways? Also what is the fuel capacity on a 92-93 35' Fountain. Thanks in advance for any info.

your right.i found mine the other day and the gal capacity was 79gal.i think 88 or 89 was when the platforms were added.i could be wrong.

swim platfom added in 89. you could still get 1 without a platform in 89 tho. all had platform after that

I had an 87 and it was 80 gal a side. Swim platforms on the 33-35 started in 89 after the fire. The 88 12 meters were straight backs with the small cockpit,in 89 there were still some standard cockpit 12 meters but that was the first year they came out with the "EC" (extended cockpit) which moved the windshield forward two feet with a new top deck. The standard cockpit top deck burned up in the fire so it was no more. Back to the original question the swim platforms started in 89 and they started calling them 35&42 Lightnings
