bad day on the water need a tach ring & lens

Runnin the south bay today a caught a bad 3 to 4 foot wake got slowed down just prior but the little women took it the worse and she will be ok. But the her arm hit the tach and the gauge ring (not the bezel) got bent and the lens cracked. Has anyone ever taken one apart the fix the issue I have or should I just try to find a matching tach? Figure I would ask before I get my butt up under the dash and pull it out.

I would start by calling the manufacturer of the gauge and seeing what options you have. I'm guessing Livorsi or Gaffrig. If your lucky you might just be able to send the gauge back and have them replace the rim and lens. My Livorsi gauges the rims are machined over the lens to the gauge itself so your not going to be able to do it yourself.
If you have to replace the gauge a new tach will cost you around $200.00. Not the end of the world.
