Execusioner vs. Lightning
 

Dont know why i'm asking ive only had my 288 1 season but i keep finding myself looking at 35' Fountains. Whats the difference between the 35 Lighting and 35 Executioner? Found a lightning with 500's & Exec. has Mag HO's, ideas on top end in the Exec. /w HO's?

First its Executioner,:evilb: high 70 with 496s Lightning with 500s mid 80s but it really depends on the year with the Lightning.

Ok I admit i didnt know how to spell Executioner so i copied it from another post so i'm only half stupid......anyway the Lightning is an 01 and the engines were referred to as "540's" so there not stock based on the description. its also six years older and $10k more than the Executioner.

You just need to step up to a Dominator is all :)

Just kidding about the spelling, with non- stock power you are really going to have to take it out and run it. But if I had to guess mid to high 80s


And glad to know I'm not the only one who goes through the I want a different boat every August.

I agree...i keep looking at the Blue 32 SSR in the classifieds but its out of my boat budget. I need to be content and stop shopping if i ever want to retire!

When you get a fountain . You will be done wanting a differnt boat.. The executioner does not have a swim ladder and the lightning does in most cases. That 01 w 540's should run 90 plus. If not there is a problem

Just wait until winter, people get desperate and prices crash. Maybe not that gorgeous SSR but there are others!

We're looking for a 35', as well. We'll be out at JB Beach (mailbox) tonight if you're on the water. Stop by and say hi. ...this may be the last opportunity to boat this weekend.
