Fuel Tank Sending Unit Location??

Does anyone know if the sending unit on a 1997 27' fever is reachable, and if so where is it? Fuel gauge sending unit.

Under back seat. In the middle should be a round access "screw" cap. It is directly under that.

Just did that job at the beginning of the year. You can get the whole sending unit on ebay.

Awesome. Thanks. Was it pretty easy to do?

From what I can see. I helped (watched bascially) one of my friends do most of the work. I bought him a few beers afterwards. But if I had to do it again I definitly could do it.

I think this goes without being said but make sure your batteries are OFF before you start tinkering with the gas tank.

Do you know what manufacturer it was? I'm going to try to replace mine this week.

Its most likely Grafrig same as the gauge. I would replace it with Lavorsi. I would put a gauge in it as well. Then you know your getting a true reading, If the sender is shot the gauge shouldn't be far behind it.

I wonder if the threads on the livorsi would be compatible with the threads already on the tank?
