29 Fountain Fever hatch leaking
 

I just bought a Fountain 29 fever and after a medium to heavy rain the hatch leaks up front. I notice that there is a black seal. Is this the problem and how do I get a new one to replace. Anyone have this issue before?

You need new hatch tape. Taco Metals makes it.

i bought some sealer stuff for outside exterior doors from Home depot and it works great. But man that old chit is hard to get up. Also I wouldnt let a boat sit outside uncovered for an extended time thats the quickest way to ruin it
