Ask him if the 300k in the glove box is in 100's or 20's

You guys are missing out on the fact that this is wholesale pricing.

Reggie 09-27-2012 09:33 PM

She's a steal...... WOW, something doesn't seem correct on the price

Racerngr1 09-27-2012 10:07 PM

Maybe for an extra 100k they will throw in a trailer?

rootdown 09-28-2012 06:26 AM

Wonder if they will give me 400000 trade in on my 27?

bob_t 09-28-2012 10:43 AM

The overheated headers (and tailpipes) shown in the photos must be "no extra charge". Never seen that much discoloration all the way into the tailpipes before. Maybe new $100K seawater pumps are included in that $400K price .... or maybe that is some type of special, super secret, one of a kind, expensive dry exhaust?? Wonder what condition the heads are in, if the exhaust overheated that much?

rchevelle71 09-28-2012 11:53 AM

Something is not right, must be a typo, or he just doesnt know boats, as his car prices don't seem out of line.

neeb_usmc 09-28-2012 11:58 AM

$6000 monthly payment

4bus 09-28-2012 12:03 PM

I have seen that price, that exact price was on the web earlier this year. Someone had blanket ads for brand new fountains on iboats.com (gone now) and all the ads had current sugested list price for 2011 boats.

No boost guages either. Probly a 525 boat. They had some issues mapping the ICU. But they got it right now :D

I confirmed it's a friend of mines and not for sale. That was from the previous owner about 2 years ago. I think Ron paid about $100K, probably less. Couple drives, ECU's, tachs, fuel regs later it does 100MPH with my old 6bl 35 Herings. He's refreshing the engines this winter.
Oh, and he said anybody is welcome to buy it for $395K.

I went to his place on the 4th of July. He lit 2, 16,000 cracker, bricks of firecrackers at the same time. Awesome!

Just 100 on whippled 525's in a semi staggered? I would think he would have a little more there.

Roger 09-28-2012 08:53 PM

We all know Reggie no longer builds them, so they are more rare these days. Maybe you can purchase it on the OBAMA plan. Take it now and have the next generation pay for it.

Been there, done that with the firecrackers. Next morning our lakehouse front lawn and beach looked like a land-fill with all the paper from the firecrackers. Lots of raking and cleaning up took the fun out of the twenty minute long out-of-control display the night before.

The good ole' days..........like when 100 used to be fast.

I've talked to a few people about this boat while I pulled my hair out on mine and the fact it only hit 104. I've heard his boat did 114 and/or 109 before he owned it. His best though is 100 although I think he's a bit overpropped. I think he's only getting to 5000RPM for 9% slip which he's happy with. We'll see what he does with the engines this winter.
Ed Trihey's doing them.

Which means;

I'll have to do something with mine.

Aside from rebuilding, what do you think TBS blowers and CFM throttle bodies will do for me.
I'm at 4# boost with 3.5" pulleys
