2000 38 Lightning
Zeroing in on a boat.....:bunnydance: 2000 38' Lightning w/ 525sc's. SxS motors, twin step, bravo drives rotating in. What kind of speed should I expect from this set up??

I've got the same year w/ 700 Teagues, SC outdrives. Top speed at sea level 93. I believe that # would be 95 w/ the props dialed in. How much they asking? Mine was for sale last summer and will be put back up in the classified section next week. Approx. 133hrs on engines, 16 hrs on complete rebuilt drives. Sitting on a fresh water lake in Id. PM me your email and I can shoot you some pics if interested.

My guess would be low 80's every day.
Interesting 38 for sale, seems awful cheap http://www.ablboats.com/93131 |

I have about 700 hp a side. You will have between 5 - 600 hp I would guess w a 525 sc Or pro charged or whatever it is. If it has standard drives and the bottom is in good shape i would say 80. There is way too many variables. But a 2000 is a sweet boat. |
