Decided to give my engine room a coat of paint while I am waiting on parts for my engines

Looks good , maybe while the engines are out you should have the back rail re-powerdcoated. Just an idea

Paint the other side red. I dare ya. Looks good, makes we want to do mine.

I am in the process of doing the same thing, hopefully finish up tonight. Using white rustoleom enamel with 8:1 hardener. Mine is slow going because I would not remove everything at once, one side at a time cause my memory sucks. Tonight will be the 4th in a row

The tin foil trick works great even when you are spraying and not brushing

I did the sides of mine in white, and the bottom in alum silver, looks ten times better, will post pics when I get all my tools out of the way.

Well after seeing how nice your bilges turned out, (& I'm waiting on my engines :( ) I decided to do the same.. I used Bilgecoat & had it tinted slightly to match the gelcoat, what a diffence a couple coats of paint make, I had no intentions of doing this until I seen this thread! anyways jab05 let us know how she runs! I used to have a '99 35 Single step , great boat, should haul a$$ with that power |
