Cutting edge prop for 29 fever

Hey guys, I'm interested in ordering a prop from cutting edge. I'm wondering if any of you have had any experiences with their products, specifically a prop for my setup. I have an 01 29 fever with a 500 efi bravo1. I've read some very positive responses in the prop talk section but I was hoping there was someone here in the fountain form that may have one of their props on a similar setup to mine. Currently I'm running a bravo1 26 and am consistently running right at 5200-5300 rpm which I am happy with the all around performance of this setup but I see they sell labbed, brand new props for a very reasonable price, and I believe there may be some positives to be had from a labbed finish prop.

Thanks in advance guys

Give Gregg Hittner a call. He will get all your info and build you a prop specifically for your Boat and motor combo.

I have a 2002 27 with 496HO with 26P labbed cutting edge.. very good quality, no complain.

He did a set of 28 B1's for me and all I can say is AMAZING! They are so nice you'll not want to put them in the water. I don't think Greg has the biz anymore, believe Augie has it now (there is a thread on it in the prop section along with pix) but heard same quality, fit and finish. Good luck!

Wow!! Those props are sexy!! Like I said, I am happy with the all around performance of my stainless bravo 1. I run right near max rpm consistently, even with a full load of passengers and fuel. It consistently runs 72-74 mph with that load, and I have seen 76 with just me in the boat, and that is GPS also. I think my cruise is pretty good also, I usually run around 3500 rpm with somewhere between 40-43 mph depending on wind and current. I'm new to power boating, with this only being my second season owning my 29. I do understand the basics of prop theory also. With that said, I believe there may be some gain as to having a labb finish with planing, and possibly cruise. If I gain any on top that would be a bonus.

Sounds like you're running right where you want to be. I had a '98 w/ 500 HP with a stock Hydro 24". Best I ever saw was 74.5.

Yes I agree, it probably doesn't get much better, but since I bought the boat with only the prop that came on it, I'm in the market to buy a spare. I'm just curious if the labbed prop is a good idea, considering the price is very reasonable.
