Lovin' a Big Beak!

We F#$kin' blew the water of the shoreline of Lake MI this weekend in that 42'. We ran from GH to Sausagetuck and it was a blast. I let Kris(I had a few to many) run it down at like 5K rpm ie 75-80. Then on Sunday on the way home 4-6 fts, oh man! I let her buck, we were runnin like 80-85 at one point. The beak didn't even break off as hit several waves hard:D . I had a blast, those boats handle the waves, and the "Red Rockets" never miss a beat. Midnight:cool: ( sorry to pocket change who was scared to go so he drove down on a Sea Ray):D :D

I gotta say, I did about a hundred miles on an older 42 with 650 HP blower motors this weekend. Most of it was at 65 plus in 2-3 foot with a few big old rollers thrown in for fun:D

It was by far the most enjoyable fast ride I have done. I now fully understand the "Mystique of the Beak".

MIdnight,
You were on the wrong side of the Lake this weekend. We had 1 to 2's Sunday. You would have been bored. It was perfect water for the 35'. We went to the Gary Air Show and floated. Didn't even need to use the anchor.
I don't think were going to make it up to CG Fest. I need a new profession. My cousin use to make some good money at CG selling temporary tattoos. He did custom installs on the little Hotties! :D He had a very understanding wife.

You bought the best riding 42'...but I don't have to tell you that.
Glad you had a blast...we will be back soon.
