Question for 525 EFI guys

Need some help. What kind of oil temp are you seeing at idle? At WOT? Is your temp higher at idle and lower RPM? Thx

Ours stay right around 150-160 idle/cruise (3000) and 180 running hard. I have never seen it above 200. What temps are you running?

+1 My oil temp is about the same.

Check this out. Cruising 160-180. WOT 140-160. As soon as I come down off plane and idle BOTH motors go to 220-240. Almost at same time. How is that possible? Wouldn't smart craft sound alarm? Checked oil. Looks fine. No smell. No steam.

I'm having the same problem with my port motor water temp, but in reverse. It will all the sudden start showing 200, and the oil temp will stay solid. as soon as I back off, it will drop to 100, then slowly creep up again. I think it's a ground issue, as I've had several issues I've cleared up by running ground wires. when it does it, you can shut down, open the engine hatch, and grab the risers comfortably, so I know it isn't really geeting that hot.

Yeah...i'm thinking its a ground issue too since both motors do it at the same time. Speaking of risers....having small issue with starboard motor starboard side header. Second from the back is hot as hell....all other 3 are cool. How could that port get clogged and nothing else? It feeds from the back....so how could it only clog that header pipe and not the other two after it?
