I had to patch the floor it had a soft spot where the inspection plate was.

10M 06-24-2013 04:47 PM

Out of curiosity, what does a wrap like that cost? Always wondered, considered doing mine. The amount of time/effort I spend keeping up with my 25 year old gel/Imron finish is depressing.

excalibur82 06-25-2013 07:11 AM

They go by square foot. So depending on how much you do.On a 33 ft boat I would say between 3-5 grand

Looking great! Are the cabin doors still wood just painted white? Different material?

excalibur82 07-15-2013 10:26 PM

They are wood that are painted white.

bcfountain 07-16-2013 08:18 PM

Very nice work.I like how you did your floor.I am guessing a epoxy base paint? Also.you have a old style dash.my 85 has the same dash with a Morse style control.how did you get the zero effort style control to work?. Your boat looks also me.I am jus working the bugs out of mine...lots of them, but all good.

excalibur82 07-18-2013 08:58 AM

I did the floor in gelcoat. I rolled it on with a thick foam roller and as it started to cure I rolled it again to give it a texture nonskid to it and it worked great. You have to cut out the whole alittle to make the controls work.

thanks rob.i really like the look of the floor.my 27fever has a gelcoat floor and is a snap to keep clean vs carpet.i have a newer style dash out of a 35 that I bought from a member on here.if I could get the old dash to work w/the newer control that's the way I will go.i am trying to keep the boat as ole school as I can........captain and mate bolsters included.lol.post more pics when u can.
