Fuse panel schematic for 2005 38 Lightning ??
I am looking for a schematic of the fuse panel that is in the cabin, in the forward compartment just beneath the sink. I have a red wire that has become disconnected but it's yellow ground is still attached and I can't figure out what that hot lead is going to. I don't want to just reattach it without knowing what it is or where to attach it to. Any help appreciated.

I've been in the automotive industry for almost 20 years now in an engineering capacity, therefore I feel qualified enough to say that Fountain's wiring diagrams basically suck. ...but I'd rather have a sweet fast boat, than a good wiring diagram! ha!
There are several red wires on the diagram(s) - unless someone else has a better idea, I would confirm that the equipment on each end of the red wires is functional. At a quick glance, I'm seeing - water pump - ceiling lights - tube lights - swivel lights - maybe dash lighting? - overhead lighting - and less likely (or you would have noticed already), both tabs Hope this helps.

I'm with you, testing and back tracing is faster than trying to follow the generic wiring diagrams |

Vacu flush and fridge also get power from these panels.

All of the above seems to be working, the only thing I haven't checked is the pop up navigation light up front... maybe that's it. Thanks for the help guys..
Are you for sure it's factory? Maybe the previous owner had an accessory in the cabin he decided to keep? Fan or tv? |

The nav light should get its power from the dash, unless it is on a relay.

OK, so I went down to my boat this evening. I tried everything there is in the boat and nothing appears to be "not working", so I'm stumped. I reconnected the mystery lead to one of the hot buses and nothing changed.. nothing blew up either, so thats good.
