Looks great! want to do mine! LOL That looks exactly what I was thinking. Where is the pump and strainer mounted? Is that in the engine compartment?

US1 Fountain 08-09-2013 04:38 PM

Yep. Against bulkhead below the large metal trim pumps. Make a road trip to N of Indy when you get serious. :)

Yeah, the plastic one that came on it looked too flimsy. You oughta get the R&D boys to make a design change :).
On a good note, hasn't missed a lick!

How are you able to run it on the lift? It needs water correct?

US1 Fountain 08-19-2013 07:30 AM

A little more customizing ;)
But yes, they need water. I'll post up a pic later

Made the thru hull from 316 SS, but added a little meat to it for thicker walls, allowing me to thread the ID. A ball valve screws to the end to close it off if I want. The brass piece screws into the thru hull when I want to run the AC and has a hose (not attached in these pics) attached to hang down to the lake. Once the boat is on the lift, I just prime the system with the dock side water hose till water comes out the discharge. A check valve on the bottom of the hose keeps the water from draining out when the AC cycles off. 7-8 yrs and never once an issue.
