380 planes on a 98 38 fever
going to install these on my 38 small step fever. I have stock transoms no boxes or anything. do I need to modify theses plate by cutting them or are they bolt on? ive seen some boats with them angle cut so the drives wont hit when turning

Most likely you will not have to
becouse you are only spinning 15" wheels i am assuming that this is a side by side 38 and not a staggered once you install them trim up to you max position and turn the drives just to make sure worst case you might have to trim the corners |
ya side by side. with hydo p5x's

You wont like them. Makes the trim buttons way too sensitive.
I tried a set and went back to the 280's |
I also am installing -2 shorties. boat is all apart. anyone know for sure if they need to be trimmed. just getting ready to send a bunch of parts for powder coat, I figured I include these plates if someone has already tried this and knew if they needed to be trimmed. thanks for your help

Your not going to like those big F u c k e r s on there.....

I think on any SXS bravo boat w/8' beam the 380 plates will have to be trimmed. You can touch up the cut edge of the tab with a good paint w/o the need to PC. The 380 plates will allow you to have excellent control with the drives out using less tab.
