Nice boat
Seems like a pretty good deal for a 500EFI boat, thoughts!

Great deal if it had a trailer. Trailer could be $7-9000 which would stll make it a good deal.
|
I thought it was a pretty good deal, what kind of speeds would it run with 500EFI's?
I could probably find a cheap steel trailer, I really OT tow from my garage to my boat launch, so I don't need anything too nice |
I would think 80 would not be a problem, you could probably get a nice Manning for 8k.
|
Great! Thanks, 80MPH would be a big step up in speed for me and I wouldn't break the bank either. Appreciate the info :-)

My 32 has 500hp's carbed. It had the wrong props (hydro quad4's 28 pitch) and was doing 78 at only46-4700rpm. Bblades and others told me to get 26 Bravo ones to get the R's up and I should expect anywhere from 80-85 once I get them tuned. I got the 26's at the end of the eason but never got a chance to get the boat in the water again.

I would think u might see mid 80s in it. I have them in my 33 zx witch is a lot heavier thin that boat I I have seen 80 in mine.
|
I have the same boat same motors (2000)
82 on fresh water any day, cool right conditions, 85. That is with 28 hydro's |
Wow, 85MPH would be a BIG Step up in speed for me, my top speed now would be my CRUISE speed with that set up. Anything else to look for? Looks like a nice set up and a good step up for me. I want to step up, but, don't want to end up over my head speed wise or financially. I welcome your input and DEFINATELY appreciate it (-:

85 is not a every day speed like I said cool light fuel light load. We can run 82 just about anytime.
Things to look for is the normal stuff, transom rot from things not being sealed is the biggest one. |
