It started that the tabs would go up or down individually and only down for BOTH. Then that little 12V+ circuit between the BOTH and individual switches broke, so nothing would go up.

It is a switch /jumper problem.

It's a little tough to tell how it's wired from your pictures, but given that you didn't change wiring, it seems like its the switch that has failed. Did you try disconnecting the hot and the "up" wires from the both switch and touch them together to see if the solenoid moves? If you get a response, then you know its the switch itself..
I'm pretty savvy with simple circuits. So once I get some more time I'll try some things and report back. |

I figured out the wiring, I think.
Orange - 12v White - starboard tab valve Green - port tab valve Yellow - motor reverse, up Red - motor forward, down This is how my boat is worse from the factory, it doesn't follow the OEM schematic. The pump is a Bennett V351. Found it to be broken connection in the boat's wiring. Kind of bitter sweet, it'll be a free fix just a ***** to find. |
Glad you found it and it wasn't a costly $$ fix but I do understand the frustration is a real #itch
