35 executioner top speed
 

Looking at 35 executioners....what is top speed with 500efis and with 496s? And prop set up?

Great choice of boat!

500's are 80+ mph boat, 496 mags very high 70's Some even hit the 80 mark with the 1.87 gears and taller props but take a country mile to get there.

Had a 500 single step 35 and loved the boat, honestly, my all time favorite.

Props with 500's ............. 26 Hydros stock or 28 Bravos labbed by Merc Racing were my best.
496 mag HO's with the 1.87 gears the 32 Bravos were the props that the factory put on them.

I have hit 79 with mine (496) and that was fresh water, probably would hit 80-81 under perfect conditions. I have only run her once.

I was wondering the same question as well. Ron Potter is building me a set of 500 EFIs right now. I hope we will get into the 80s with it. Mine is a single step 32 fever.

You should be mid to high 80's with that.
