So I just thought id start a thread and see who all was from the area and what lakes everyone frequented? Just to get an idea of any lakes I may want to hit this summer. Also any recommendations on poker runs etc... that might be fun.

cool deal nice to meet ya guys texoma isn't too far im thinking of hitting the poker run at eufala theyre having in june.

Me and another guy put on the run, it starts at H. Toad and covers a good chunk of the lake. Ends at Dog Days. It started several years ago with our boating web site (Midwest Boat Party) and I now work for Lake Ozarks Marine and MWBP and still put on the event. Our boat store isn't on the water.

Grand Lake, OK. There's a new poker run and shoot out in the works. Don't know much about it but should be a good time.

Yeah I saw that definitely going to try to make that one.

I'll be there. Not sure if I'll take my CS or ride in a buddies eliminator. It's a fun poker run. Well stop at sissy beach about half way through, watch the hands get turned in at the bar and then back to the cut.

There's another in July as well. Easily my favorite weekends of the past few years.

Awesome we will have to run together the. Ought to be a good time.

I do not know much about that run because I am in Houston, Tx area but we are deffinetly doing the Texas outlaw challenge.

I was gona hit eufaula till I had an issue arise so probably going to the brad smith run on grand lake. I got my spare engine In Since I haven't gotten my block back from the machine shop. I oughta have it out this next week and take my time building my big engine.

didn't make the BS Ugly run boat wasn't ready. did have a good fourth though. thinking of hitting up another lake before the end of the summer any suggestions?? anything with good restaurants and fun hang outs or a smaller poker run maybe?

Come on up to the Ozarks for the Shootout! I'm sure lots of places are booked up by now though. I believe I actually called on your boat with the previous owner before you purchased it. Does it have a 540 or it did before at some time? Either way love the boat and if you happen to come up to LOTO let us all know and we can meet up!

it did at one time. be glad you didn't buy it the poor ole girl had a hard life and the previous owner and the one before him sure don't need to own boats lol. I had to replace every piece of wood in the cockpit when I had the interior done. I still have to redo the dash but that will be an ongoing process lol. I don't think I can make the shoot out but I will try to make LOTO this summer or next.
