ok, its been an extremely long & cold winter... were patiently waiting for spring, I finally decided to get rid of the old school liquid filled speedo & had Livorsi make me a GPS gauge to match the rest of my dash, & my cousin made up some new aluminum step plates, I think they are a nice upgrade, feel free to share your Fountain BLING

Very nice my ner bling will a set of new motors that aren't assembled just yet so I have nothing to share at this point. But I want to know where you got those step pads you have? All of your bling is very nice but those I got to have my self. Let me know please sir.

I made the step pads on my Cnc milling machine.I still have to make the other one for randy, I will make some more. PM me if you want them. Thanks

What model VMC you got?

Im stuck in the stoneage with a 2J Bridgeport and 12ck Monarch.

I have 2 fadal milling centers and a okuma Cnc lathe. I just got my 35 and I will be making some cool stuff this summer, when I have open machine time.Here are pic of the bling I made for my 28 velocity.

Don't think I ever saw stepped tabs before. Was that for performance or for chits and grins?

Did a few test on them to see if it would reduce drag,didn't do anything lol. Left them on they looked pretty cool.

Just got my dash from Steve a innotech, Cant wait till the boat is out of storage.

Great to see there's some other fountain machinists out there. Heres my step pads, I made with a bridgeport manual mill, and a Fanuc wire edm.
main pad is out of 304 Stainless, fountain bolt is 316L stainless, .400 thick, should actually be able to step on them with out breaking them.

Made some battery covers a few yrs ago from AL. Made the program to do either just the full lighting bolt circle, FOUNTAIN, or the combo of both as shown here.

Never mind the finger prints :)


I did find out that for some reason, the Fountain font and bolt circle pattern varies a lot and is far from consistent. I used my license plate to make this program. Magazines, plates, decals...all different
