Help with 1980's Mercury external hydraulic steering
 

I have purchased an 1980`s style Mercury external hydraulic steering set up for a twin TRS drive from an OSO member.
It came off of a `80s style TRS twin set up but the fellow did not have the measurements from the side of the gimble housing to the side of the hydraulic ram bracket that bolts to the stern as another hydraulic system had already been installed.
I will be mounting the external steering between the TRS drives and I understand that they have to be mounted parallel to the crank centre line.
If anyone has the measurements from the side of the gimble housing to the edge of the hydraulic steering ram bracket for this old style Merc external hydraulic steering, I would really appreciate their help..
