05 EX Inline flush hoses, were to mount?

Installed flush kits on my 496's (stock exhaust) went to button it up tonight and the bracket that came with the Mercury kit does fit anywhere. I can make something but what did anyone else do? Just looked through all the classified adds none of them have flush kits either. Thanks.

On my 38, I mounted a Perko water inlet like this...

http://www.perko.com/catalog/categor...e/product/451/

connected to a flush tee (via 5/8" marine fuel hose) from Teague like this :

http://teaguecustommarine.com/em0011...x-3-4-mpt.html

except they made it for a -10 fitting and 1/2" NPT and I connected that to two SS ball valves connected to the inline flush on both engines...

Hook the hose up to the hose inlet and then open the appropriate valve for whichever engine I was flushing.

Thanks, Thats probably what I am going to do. I will have to extend one hose but there is no place to mount the braket the Mercury kit came with.

Thats what I was going to do also, just hate drilling holes.

My 32 is done just like US 1s are done a little closer together than his are but just like that on the starboard side of the boat just in front of the starboard motor. Works great I can reach it without standing on the back seat perfectly.

If you blow this picture up you can see mine right behind the edge of the board holding up my hatch cover. The front one is right behind the actuator rod. Sorry thought I had a better picture than I do for you to see.

Yep, drillin holes isn't my cup of tea for most part. However, I think in this case it looks cleaner than a bracket bolted to something. I installed mine, 1 on each side, vs both together. Seemed a little less confusing, or so I thought.

Installed 2 new impellers, out to street to test run. Facing the motors, hooked the hose to the motor to my right, had wife turn on hose, moved to the helm and fired up the motor on the right. Ordered another new impeller. :D

I did the exact same thing as US1 Fountain with the Perko inlet. Mounted it right beside the fresh water inlet and ran a hose behind the engine room lip to the flush tee. It definitely looks cleaner than a bracket hanging there.
