Nice!;)

Chummy 08-19-2002 10:13 AM

Great looking boat

Marginmn 08-19-2002 10:32 AM

Thanks guys,

and thanks to Candyman for helping me get the pictures on the site. The boat is a 99 20th Anniversary Edition with twin 500's - it's in mint condition and had just over 40 hours on it when we got it 3 weeks ago - it has a few more on it now :)

We've thoroughly enjoyed it so far. It's fun to actually go out looking for chop to run thru instead of running to the back coves to get away from it.

SeaDated 08-19-2002 11:22 AM

Very nice. Two thumbs up.

Daryl 08-19-2002 01:30 PM

Nice boat looks like mine! P icture did not come out. I also have a 20th anny. Mine is a 42 what size is yours.

Jana 08-19-2002 05:26 PM

Nice! Congratulations! Top speed is...?

Daryl - It looks like a 35 (check the seat backs).

Marginmn 08-19-2002 07:06 PM

Zana is right.

It's a 35.

Airwolf767 08-20-2002 10:39 AM

Marginmn nice boat. I noticed Port of Brownsburg on the back of the boat. hmmmm I live in Avon and need some stock tips quick... Just kidding do you ever get down to lake monroe?? Congrats on the new ride.

Marginmn 08-20-2002 11:48 AM

The previous owner lived in Brownsburg

tks, we live in north Indy and I've only been to Monroe one time. We do all of our boating on Cumberland and that's where we keep the boat. Do you ever get down to Cumberland?

Zane, didn't see your question earlier - the boat runs in the low 80's

Mate 229 08-20-2002 09:10 PM

Great looking boat, good luck with her. That looks like quite a boat ramp in the background.

Marginmn 08-21-2002 09:37 AM

So far it's run just over 81 with 3/4 of a tank and 6 people on board. Still getting used to it.

ALFSTER 08-27-2002 08:46 AM

MARGINMN,

Brian

Marginmn 08-27-2002 09:27 AM

Thanks Brian,

I remember seeing you - that sounds like one heck of an engine that you have in that boat. Is it stock?

ALFSTER 08-27-2002 09:43 AM

It's a 548 cu. in. tunnel ram motor, only thing stock is the bow tie block. Are you going down this weekend I'd like to get a closer look at your ride

Marginmn 08-27-2002 10:40 AM

Wow, your 29 must scream

with that bad boy. We plan on going down either Thursday evening or very early Friday morning - we'll probably be at little falls friday afternoon or early saturday- before it gets to crowded. Hope to see you there Brian.

Robert

ALFSTER 08-27-2002 03:28 PM

I'm with Mate29, that is one Heck of a ramp in the background!! Where is it? I don't think there is any way in Hell I could pull my boat up that thing!!:(

Marginmn 08-29-2002 08:36 PM

That's Beaver Creek Marina

on Lake Cumberland. If you think that ramp is bad, you should have seen some of the old ramps that they had to put your boat in years ago. The height of Cumberland started out this year 730 feet above sea level, while it's now down to about 700 feet. By the time they are are finished dropping it in october/nov it'll be down to around 680 - that's why the ramps are so steep, many worse than the one you see in the background. :o

Von Bongo 09-05-2002 03:46 PM

Nice looking boat, did it come from Wisconsin? I thought about the one up there with 502's but at that time they didn't want to work on the price, last I had seen it was below what I would have paid them. It was a sweet boat.

rlipps6 09-05-2002 04:09 PM

NO

This boat came from just a few slips up from me at Grider Hill on Lake Cumberland - it has 500's. I saw the one you were talking about, where did they wind up pricing it?
