47 Fountain any info????
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-Fountai...wer_Motorboats
Any one know anything about this? Looks like it might have taken on water at some point?? looking to buy, fix up, and re-sell. What would it realistically be worth fixed up nice and with a custom paint job? |

Market for 47's in general is very soft. That boat looks like it had gone under. 700's and #6's won't be cheap to fix up. Speed wise, probably comparable to a trip 525 boat. Yes, less HP, but also missing the weight of another engine / drive package and staggered motors. TLC is an understatement. Look closely at the pics, lots of evidence of neglect there.

It is defiantly rough can probably count on motor & drive work/rebuild... unless it sat outside with the hatches open, it probably did take a dive. Figured with its size it would have a small market place.

I agree, the dirt on the tops of the engines shows it went under, not to mention how dirty that bilge is for a 2009. Gen is non working, they don't live when they get wet.
Still......I have not seen one with only 2 700s, but this same year with stag 850/1075 twins sells in the 275 range. Doesn't take a lot to get 850 out of a 700sci. What a great boat to buy in the fall |

Other than a dirty bilge I am not seeing signs the boat got wet. 260 Hours it didn't spend that much time in the shop. That's my two cents, If I was interested I would make the trip to put my hands on the boat. Probably one of the last 47"s that came out under Reggie's control. Good color, AC/Gen, new style interior still financeable.....I see the glass half full :)

For the year, I would assume it sunk as well. But if it sunk freshwater the price is reflective of it and it is not a big deal. I think that boat pulls low 200s mint |
