possible drive slip
 

can any of you fountain owners tell me if it is possible for a drive to feel like it is not going into gear at idle , but it will still pull top speed. I have a twin and my port drive just slides into gear and the star side just a little jurk. when trying to turn the boat just sits there and starts to turn very slow. but I would think that if it was slipping that it would not pull top speed which it still does. but when slowing down the port side starts to shake so bad you would think the prop was out of balance, but the prop lookes to be in great shape. I dont know were to start first.
