35 single step with 500 efi
Question.. which would you order for lowers .-1 or -2 in an imco pros and cons ..
I put -2 on my 32 and it made it handle much better. than -3 and that was terrible
Rich. |
2 friends of mine just put -2 lowers on there 35 single steps and they got 5 mph.And i just so happen to have a set of fresh ones for [email protected]
-2 so you can add a spacer if needed...
depends on which year 35... they raised the x on newer models (after 2000) 5 MPH is a bit optimistic... 3 is realistic on 97-99 models, I agree I would get the -2 and you can dial it n better & space down if you have to
Agreed, 3mph seems to be the increase with -2 imco. Many agree that money toward the imcos is better used making horsepower to get that last mph
Boats mentioned above gaining the 5mph+ were making. much more power. Also one got lil to no gains until switching to 1.36 gears & trying of several props. They both handled better too i believe.

Thanks for the response. I have a set of supercharged engines for this boat. I am debating on changing them out or leaving the blue motors in and putting lowers on it ...Maybe a few more mph with the lowers. Seems that the people out there want the reliability of the blue motors so before I pull them id like to maybe try one more option...

I've done it to a '99 single step 500 hp boat... If I was to do it over, I would save the $$ & put it towards HP upgrades |
