47 Lightning - paint help!!
 

Hello everyone. Now that the boat is ready to drop into the water I'm thinking I need to do something about the paint first. Everything below the rub rail looks like new but the red and black striping above the rub rail is losing its clear coat. I basically have two options here. I can have the stripes above the rub rail repainted for short money or I can just have the boat painted all white for tall money. What are your thoughts? You can look at my signature picture to the left to see a picture of the boat . Thank you in advance and any suggestions are welcome!

My 47 is/was all white and it kind of got a little boring. It's such a big boat, it needs something. I ended up doing some decals on the side as a temporary thing until I'm ready to spend the money to paint it for real. If you're going to spend the money to paint it, do something creative... call Mitcher T or Stephen Miles.... both very talented guys..
