04 ex questions
 

about to acquire an 04 ex. no drives or power.

-i was wondering, what kind of speeds with the boat. I know the factory power was 496's... what about bigger?
-do bravo 1's have issues or are XR's necessary? -2 or -3 lowers? of course alot of driver error.
- good condition nice paint etc, decent std power i see prices around 65-100k... is that an accurate gauge for resale?

42 ex build
great read

great read. LOTS of posts to sort through though. I am really asking on the mostly stock aspect. not planning on doing a big build. read the first post of the 05 thread and see, "1000hp 540's" lol not doing anything near that. just tossing some reasonable power and drives on it and custom painting it. just some general questions i had.

Must be referring to a 35 ex? 496 boat would run mids 70's. 500hp close to 80.. Do a search , tons of info on 35's in every configuration

Never seen a 42 with 496's.

Is it a 35 or 42. Never saw a 42 with 496mags. A 04 35 with 496 mags light will do 80 mph but all day long 76/77 with people fuel and gear..

im talking about a 35 ex.
