600 or 700 in a 29
 

I remember seeing a newer 29 with a 600 sci that was factory installed. Were any ever equipped with a 700 direct from Fountain? And since the 700 has an intercooler that is about 3/4" taller than the one on the 600, would it fit under the stock hatch? Thanks.

Hope someone replies as I am curious as well. Guy at Lake Lanier has a 2003 or 2004 with a 502 SC motor. I have talked to him and seen the boat run. He claimed it was a mild build equivalent to a 600 SC Mercruiser.
Saw the boat last week but the motor was out due to a cracked started mount. Should be back together by this summer and will follow up on speeds.
