29's seem to bring quite a bit of money. Unless you have a dock situation like mine I would either do a 27 or a 35.

Are you locked on a Fountain? I know a cherry 27 Formula with a fresh 500 for less money with a really nice trailer. It runs like a bat out of hell for the size/power.

Not entirely, do you have a link on it?

It just seems like every 29 fever seems to be going for mid 30's to low 40's all the way from 96'-04...

don't kill my guys but I have looked at Sunsations too... only because you can find something a little newer for cheaper. but as we all know its cheaper for a reason. Its not a Fountain!!

Quality wise I think Fountain and Sunsation are very comparable. Both great boats

Ask him for some pics. Super clean, I haven't seen anyone take better care of their boat. He is meticulous.

Kkshelby13, the boat in the link at the beginning of this thread is mine. I'm kinda disappointed to hear that a few people on this site have had difficulty with the company selling it for me as they're super nice n do a lot of good business. Anyway, if u have any other questions about the boat lmk. I don't have much more info than u may already have on the motor tho but there is a build sheet available as someone already mentioned.

Here is your answer, a single under 30' is where you want to be, so follow what you really want, forget what others tell you. Have run with a few 29 Fountains and have always been impressed with what the boat would do.

stick with the 29 over the 27 you will like the extra room in the cockpit
