I'm thinking someone is going to have to custom make them... I am looking for the older (smaller) versions as well.

89Mach1 12-03-2015 05:41 PM

There's 2 for sale for $100 on Facebook Powerboat Swap Shop.

Those are the newer larger size of the logo...

Oh my bad. I didn't really look at them, just happened to notice them yesterday as I was browsing...

They are too big to fit on our 32"s (maybe others) below the windshield on the sides unfortunately. The newer "FOUNTAIN" letters the factory sells will fit but you will need to leave the logo off or install it somewhere else. :)

I look on ebay at least once a week for them... no bueno! I bought the last one from Great Lakes Skipper about 7 months ago and there are no more to be found... at least there anyways. Since I only have the one I had the stickers made until I find another solution. I'm hoping to find someone that can make them in this smaller size but so far the best option I have found for me would be to buy the "newer" letters and logos from Fountain and just not use the logo where the letters normally go since they are too big.

Diamond Dave 12-04-2015 11:57 AM

Here are the pictures directly from Fountain of the newer style letters and logos if anyone is interested for future reference. The letters and bolt for one side sell for $145.00. The picture of the bolt did not look like an accurate measurement and made it hard to tell so I emailed Fountain and they said the "bolt" logo is actually 5 3/4" tall.

Dave, now I understand where you're talking about. Guess I didn't realize that placement, mine doesn't have that. Your boat looks great, is that paint or a wrap?

boatnt 12-05-2015 08:45 AM

I had them painted on,,kind of different but I think they look good.

Thanks! Yes the older boats like ours didn't come with the fancy chrome letters which is strange since they do have a version of the chrome bolt logos on them ... Ours had the same paint scheme as yours above the rub rail but different colors and the checkered flag with stripe design below. The wife hated the old paint so we had it wrapped. I didn't mind it but you know how all that goes if you are married. :) It's all metallic film and all individual pieces, it really pops when the sun hits it.

Boatnt, did you have mirrors under your hatch that you took off? If so, how did you get them off, did they break, and how much weight did you save do you think?

boatnt 12-06-2015 03:54 PM

Always wondered how those were attached... ?

89Mach1 12-08-2015 05:56 PM

Yeah, I just assume get rid of them and lose a few pounds back there. I'm kinda afraid the start prying on them in fear that they'll shatter. Gotta be one hell of an adhesive to hold them on I would think.

If you figure out how to get them off in one piece I'll buy them but you are probably right they aren't going anywhere lol. :) Breaking them would sure be a mess and you better be good at yoga to get all the little pieces out of these bilges. I can't imagine what the boating version of having 7 years of bad luck would be lol!

Oh good god, I never thought about the bad luck... Probably shouldn't even bother then!

89Mach1 12-08-2015 06:34 PM

Hey Dave, I read through your thread the other night about your little rot issue, sorry to hear about that man! So what's the news on that as of now?

Yes on second thought maybe I don't want a mirror in thinking about your next question...

Yes it's horrible... and to add to it I also have a "engine overhaul thread" you can read about lol. Coincidently one engine is in pieces in my garage now. I think I have found somewhere to take it to for the hull repairs which really need done first so right now we are just saving up for everything...

89Mach1 12-09-2015 05:49 PM

I'm sorry to hear that. We are planning a top end refresh next fall on both motors. I've been talking to a few builders for a couple months now and feel very confident with one guy. Hopefully you'll be back on the water next year without breaking the bank.

DIRT173 08-03-2016 12:29 AM

I do still have it. I bought the last one from them and can't seem to find another to match. I will let you know if I decide to sell it which may be highly likely so you have first dibs. :)

Yamaha 225 07-14-2017 10:55 AM

I am also looking for a pair of logos for our 2003 29 Fever!!

skidoomaster 08-13-2017 08:39 PM

I have some Fountain Emblems available! 5-1/2" outside dia.
Couldn't find any replacement emblems for my 27 fever. The ones offered by Fountain Powerboats are only 4.5" dia and cost $220 per side, and comes with the full Fountain word letters.
Had some made out of 11ga Stainless Steel.
Used 3M 2-way tape that I got from a body shop - same tape they use to hold car molding in place.
Will attempt to add a picture.
I have 8 emblems left at the moment. selling for $50 each.
Ship from Grand Rapids, MI.
PM me if you are interested. I'm typically online during the week.
Thanks.
