Battery switches
Pretty sure this is an easy question. I have an 05 35 lightning that has 2 switches with 2 batteries. The switches are labeled off, on, full and part. What is the difference between on, full and part when you only have 1 battery per switch?

Mine are labeled....
OFF 1 2 BOTH Off = Off (duh) 1 = battery 1, which is starboard on mine 2 = battery 2, which is port on mine BOTH = both batteries combined (port and starboard) I've since added a 3rd battery with the Blueseas Add a Battery kit, that is not influenced by the stock switches - and it is wired to only operate "house" electroinics (stereo, fridge, fans, etc). I'd suggest you do the same to prevent your starting batteries from draining at the raft up. :-) Additionally, you could remove your switches and trace the battery cables to see what each does and which battery they are wired to - this would tell you alot. |
yea I could understand if they were labeled like that. Guess I just need to get an ohm meter out and see what does what
