Help with lift bunks for 89 Lightning 33 ft
 

My Fountain will soon be going up on a lift at my marina. The marina is going to install new bunks to replace the current warped bunks. Does anyone know how far apart the bunks should be placed for this boat? Does it matter what width the bunk board is? Any advice would really be appreciated.

Mine are 2 inch wide. They just have to be narrow enough so the keel
Doesn't rub. I think mine are roughly 16inches apart. 2x12s roughly. Not home so can't measure but these worked on a 272 formula and 30 scarab both deep Vs

My lift is set the same as my trailer bunks on width. Mine is a hydro hoist lift

I think mine are 3" wide.

When the lift company fitted the boat they had a rough distance to start from, but probably made about 5 adjustments to get it perfect.
