Looking to move into a 2006 or newer 38 Express Cruiser (by July 4th) if everything works out with the sale of my 47 Lightning. Not much out there right now in the 2006 year and in my price range. I am a little worried about selling my 47' and not being able to find a 38' Express. Other than the online popular ads does anybody have any info on 38's for sale? I will trailer it but can buy one separate from boat if needed.
Any good leeds would be appreciated. |

Ozark- pm me your e-mail address and I'll send you pics of my 2006 38EC. I have custom folding arch, innotech dash, and bunches of knowledge of the boat as I have put about 500 hours on it since I purchased in March of 2007. Mine is a 496 boat with bravo IIIX drives and bravo 3 XR props. (leading four blade and trailing three blade). I'm currently experimenting with bravo 1X drives and maximum props. Love the boat, went from a 1997 419 fastec formula with trip 525SC to this Fountain. I trailer the boat all over Florida and look to add bow thruster in near future.

I used to tow with a 2000 F-350 with the 7.3 diesel and was very stable, but the truck had a hard time staying at highway speeds. I recently purchased a 2014 RAM mega cab single wheel 4 wheel drive and it tows like a dream. truck has exhaust break and tons of torque of course. I use triple axle aluminum trailer with stainless disc brakes on all axles and electric over hydraulic brake system. Even though a single rear wheel truck, still very stable with triple axle trailer. Over the years I have learned easy to tow, not so easy to stop. It is a little wide for towing in Florida, but police leave me alone as the boat doesn't extend past the trailer's wheels. Love the boat, perfect combo of speed, flat ride and space.
