Drive Showers on Staggered 35
I've been looking at installing a pair of Hardin plate style drive showers on my boat. Was reading about cavitation problems arising from them tho and I think my boat may be sensitive to this considering the staggered engine/ drive set up and SSM lowers. Anyone have any info or recommendations?

You want the water pickup to be as small as possible. I have Teague drive showers on my boat. The pickups protude about an inch below the cavitation plate and don't cause any problems. Truth be told though, not sure if they help that much either but I figured they can't hurt either.

My drives don't have the normal white water deposits on them but I've always run them in the past so I feel like I have to continue that trend. Thanks for the info. I will look at the Teague ones.

I am just going to place my exhaust (dry to the tips) water dumps right over each drive and use that to help cool the top caps. It won't be as cold as lake water but its a lot cooler than nothing.
