So where are you pumping from? Sticking a vac hose in front of the bilge pump area or from forward center couch area.

I don't have a pic handy ,, but in the 35 there is a stringer/support in the step. Each side has a small trough to direct water toward the bilge pump. I keep this in the boat (under the step actually) in case I get caught in rain while out for the weekend.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2515369...&ul_noapp=true I stick the hose in the trough under the cabin floor several inches and pump into a bucket. |

I had the same problem years ago. Traces it to water coming from anchor locker when washing.

My fairing was leaking. I removed and siliconed around all the bolt holes and the little "cups" that the snap screws go in. my carpet/ under the step has been dry for 4 years now. I do need to pull my bow railing next, but the fairing definatley slowed down the water intrusion into the cabin.

Thanks guys, most of mine comes from washing it and coming in from anchor locker.

Mcprodesign is right!! There are a lot of us Fountain owners who have this problem including myself. The water comes in from the bow rails and the rub rail too and the more bow you have the worst it is. I have found to store my fountain bow high now whenever it rains the carpet and under steps are as dry as the desert baby!
