2006 Executioner with staggered 525's what would I expect speed wise?

Whipple them and over 100. Lol. Friend sold his 05 525 42. Buyer whippled em and it runs 103.

"Low" 80's is not accurate.....ours (before the Mod Saga) ran 86-87 consistently...light fuel. Whipple 525's on stock blocks will see 107ish.

I am not a Fountain fan...but the 42 to me looks just awesome! And it doesn't take stupid power to get over 100.

I spent a weekend running a 42 EX with 525's and it ran 80-81 WOT with full main tanks and empty saddle tanks. Not sure what factory props were on it but I believe the XR's were 1.50 ratio.

Talk to Brett at BBlades. Try out a set of stock 5 blade Maximus. Then if you buy the set have him lab them for you. The boat will make it to 89 mph. This was on 2005 42 lightning 525's with shortie speed masters.
The overall performance increase was significant. Cruise at the same speed with way less rpm's. Came out of the hole like never before. |
