Fountain 35 propping-
1989 35 fountain stock 454 mags, Bravo 1 drives. Boat is all stock. I just bought it, so its new to me...It came with 25P Mercury 3 blade Mirage props. Just wondering what props would work best on this set up..... I was told Hydro's work great. Again, all stock, flat bottom,,365 HP a side.Looking for best all around props while the boat is still all stock.... Thanks in advance,,,,,

So...let me guess....Vader got a neck grip on you and forced you to The Dark Side????:evilb:

Yes! LOL... good guess!

Its been running those props for 27 years. What makes you think they aren't the ones?:party-smiley-004:

They could be! ....But with prop technology 27 years later...theres gotta be something better. hence the thread

Email fountain with HIN. They sent me my Reggie report from 95. Lists original x and props. Good starting point.

Have a very similar boat, 89 10 Metre... flat bottom. running the TRS drives with a little over 500hp per - I was achieving 73 mph with 23 Mirages 3 blade. 3 people and full trim, I thought that was really good considering the TRS drives so deep. I think your Bravo set up would achieve a pinch more, with the flat bottom configuration. engines were screamin' at 5400... sounded good thou !

My 95 single step with 502 mags had 27 hydros. I would definitely say get to a 4 blade.

I was not a fan of the Mirage 23 on my Checkmate. |
