1992 27 fountain
 

I'm looking at getting a 92 fountain with carb 502. Is that a 390 hp motor, what prip is best, comes with a 23 any issues, and will it hit 65?

I had a 92 27 with the same power my best prop was a 22 4 blade with the 3 blades was hard to plane with a load all were close at 60 mph.

Ahh ok thanks. This one is a 3 blade 23 ". I'm going to take it for a boot and see. Thanks for the reply. We're these runs always with a load or was it ever just yourself while testing them out?

I always test with the way I boat at least 2 people and fuel the extra person can help with notes rpm ect. Nothing worst than to find a prop that has good speed but wont work when loaded.
