Think I finally made a decision Fountain 29 with single
Thought I had decided on a 27, but a 60 gallon fuel tank is to small for me, and a double or 32 requires me to buy a new truck. Anyone looking to sell one 96 -00 model years, HP500 minimum

Just saw a nice one pop up on passion for powerboats on Facebook.

Too bad I've got a customer real real nice 27, 500 efi/xr

I never had a problem with the fuel tank size on our old 27' Fever. It was a 502 MPI. I could run all weekend on a tank of fuel - if I remember correctly. Now, we don't pass a fuel dock! LOL!

Powerboat Swap Shop on FB has a bunch of 29 fevers with single engines.
|
I've started carrying several 5 gallon plastic gas cans to make some of my runs within range without having to buy fuel on the water. I have a 50 gallon tank in the Donzi.

A single 29' has something like a 120 gallon tank!

131 gallons in my 29'

I guess it depends on what your are going to do with the boat. I have had a 2005 '27 for 12 years using it on a large freshwater lake. Lake Lanier in Georgia. It handles anything just fine and you are never that far from gas. 60 gallons has always been plenty. If I were going to take trips or run in bigger rougher waters I would skip the 29 and do a 35. IMO on a lake the 29 doesn't really have any advantage over a 27 and in bigger waters it is too small.

I have a 2004 29 fever loaded with a fresh 575 on Oneida lake would sell for 59500.00
