Default 27 Fever Question

A question for 27 step bottom owners. I have 1998 27 Fever with a step bottom with a -2 IMCO lower. I like to run around the lake around 25-30 mph. I'm not happy with the ride at those speeds. Boat doesn't have a decent ride till speeds above 38 mph. The days that I have run the boat the lake has been a little on the rough side. My question is anyone running a standard leight Bravo l lower, how is the ride in the 25-30 mph range ride Flat or porpoise

I can't really answer your question in relation to your hull. However in general, more often than not, raising the X, or prop shaft height will raise the low end of the on plane speed. A man in your present situation should bolt one on and give it a try. : -)

Call me when you get a minute.
