Talked to Eric last Thursday. Was on the dyno last Wednesday........had some ignition issues and didn't get to finish.

I was on the dyno last week. After several jet changes I was unable to get the afr’s low enough. We called it a day and at home I found a really bad leak at the carb adaptor base plate gasket. Got that fixed and will be back on the dyno monday/Tuesday. With the few 5200-5400 rpm pulls I we made it still made 1000/1000 at 28 deg of timing and alittle over 9lbs. I Think at this setup with timing and revving to 63-6500 they will be at 1200. They made 980ft-lbs at 4K! Got gimbal replacement done, bilge painted, starboard engine in. Mounting fuel pumps and return regulators now. |

Got back on the dyno. Afr’s were in check but spent a day chasing around a high rpm miss that was a valve float issue. With it breaking up at 5700 rpm made 1100 hp. Still 10lbs of boost. 32deg of timing. Got the spring issue corrected figured out. Should be water ready in less than 2 weeks. |
