Need help 27 Fountain market $$

I was looking at pricing for a friend. Seems the pricing is all over for a 27. Some older ones more than newer ones $25K-$50K.
What do you think fair market value for a solid clean 27', 565 cu/in EFI, 700+ HP, extension box, 380 K-planes, 98mph (many LOTO shootout trophies), 1992 always stored inside is worth?

A 27 is hard to sell. Had a great condition 2000 27’ with a Whipple charged HP 500, XR drive, and the list goes on... Sold it for $32,500 last year and it was hard to get that much.

I think its one of those things where everyone wants a 29 but will buy a 27 if its a great deal. The 29 market being strong actually brings down the 27 market.

I agree. People ask high prices for 29s but I’m not sure what they actually sell for. I sold a 98 29 5+ years ago for $33,500. Maybe I’m not a good sales man?

I actually wanted another 29 but I couldn’t justify paying more for a 29 than I bought my 32 for.

Its the whole single engine thing. A certain group of buyers will pay more for a single engine 29 than a twin engine 32 (I'm one of those guys).

Good info guys thanks. I haven't looked in the classifieds in a while, but it appears the used boat market is drying up. There use to be 800-1000 boats for sale at any given time on OSO, now it's 350-450.
