95' 32' step Vs later step
Can any one tell me if there is a difference in the stepps from 1995 and up and if there is a performance difference? I'm looking at a 95" and want to make sure.

I didnt think that they made stepped hulls in 95, but we had a 32 w/stepps and twin 500efis the boat ran 83.7 on gps I have never been in a non stepped hull to tell you the difference in rides I know the stepped hull is quite a bit faster.

The answer is yes and yes. I think I remember 3 different, a single step, a small twin step and a larger twin step The classic has the smaller single step and is also called the executioner and the lightning has that larger twin steps. There was a thread about the different driving habbits of the 2 boats. The larger twin step boat was faster but was reported to feel much looser.
