Fountain 27 prop slip

Any prop suggestions for a 2005 Fever 27 with a 496 Mag HO? I just bought the boat, it has a Bravo 1 30P and the slip is huge in my opinion. Cruising at 3500 rpm, it runs about 33 mph with the drive trimmed to 3-4, top speed is about 66 mph @ 5000+ rpm... I don’t know the drive height but I guess it’ standard. Drive is Bravo X 1,65. I’m actually not looking for absolute top speed, more like good all-round performance and better cruise speed.

I have this same boat. Mine runs 66mph as well with a 28P prop from the factory 1.65 drive. I had BBlades do a lab custom 30P and it was no faster.

As I said in the other thread mine is the same. Runs 66mph at around 5000-5100. 30P x 1.65:1

Performance report says 72mph but I've yet to talk to anyone that can run even close to that on GPS.

I get a feeling that a labbed 5-blade would be optimal. Maybe I’ll be back with results next spring, the season is pretty much over for me here in Finland ☹️
