27 fountain
Looking at an older fountain 27' twin 350's with trs 1986 model fresh water anything to look out for transom stringers? what is a good price?
|
never knew they made a 27 with twins, or is it a 29 without the swim platform?? Will hafta get out Reggies magic tape measure again
|
At one time the 29 was called a 27. Seems like they had a 27 Fever and a 27 Fever II. The original had bucket seats. The Fever II was a little deeper and added bolsters.
|
The value is really going to br based on the condition. If all mech is in good/great cond and gel and upholstery is good/great. I would say 20-25K ?????.

Thanks, It does not have swim platform and does have bolsters advertised as a 27'. feverII?  Anything to look out for hull wise? what speeds could this setup run?
|
The boat was NEVER built with TRS drives. There were only two built with twin small blocks on Bravos. One red gel one white. Both had bucket seats and were the old fever I. (No Bolisters)
|
Let me add this. In 1986 only the 10 Meter and the 12 Meter were built. If this boat is around this era, and has TRS drives, it must be an early 8.8 meter. ALL early 27 Fevers (now called the 29) had a swim platform.

Thanks for the info. it is definitly as I described unless platform was removed? no holes visible.

Cart Man
10 meter and 12 meter's were built from 84 to 89 |
86 they made the 8.8 or 29' had no built in platform. It then became the 32 with a platform before the step boats where made.
