Trim under cleats pitting
 

my pop up cleats seem to have a piece of trim under them that is pitting, wondering if I can just remove that trim? if not where can I get replacements?

It is called a cleat bezel, you must remove the cleat to replace. Bezels are available, depending on size and style of cleat.

I understand that, question was do I need them and where can I get a replacement?

Try diamond performance parts, cp, eddies etc.

thanks, putting cleats back without that bezel. It will just pitt again, fine for fresh water not salt
